Draft for review. Before launch, have this reviewed by a qualified lawyer and add your registered business name, address and grievance officer details as required under Indian law.
BoloFluent (“we”) provides an AI English learning service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, and sign-in information from Google if you choose Google login.
- Learning data: onboarding answers, level test answers, lesson and quiz progress, vocabulary reviews, and the text of your practice conversations, corrections and feedback.
- Voice: when you speak to the tutor, your audio is sent to our speech-to-text provider to convert it to text. We do not store audio recordings by default.
- Uploaded résumés (optional, Interview Coach): stored privately so the coach can ask relevant questions. You can delete them at any time.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Cashfree Payments. We never receive or store your full card, UPI PIN or bank credentials. We store payment IDs, amounts and status.
- Usage and device data: pages visited, feature usage and basic technical logs, used for security and to improve the product.
How we use it
- To provide tutoring, corrections, learning plans and progress tracking.
- To manage your subscription, prevent abuse and enforce daily usage limits.
- To send account, billing and (if you opt in) reminder emails. You can change email preferences in Settings.
Service providers
We share only what each service needs: OpenAI (text AI tutor), Sarvam AI (speech-to-text), ElevenLabs (text-to-speech), Supabase (database and authentication), Cashfree Payments (payments) and our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf.
Your choices and rights
- Export your data or request deletion of your account from Settings → Privacy.
- Delete saved résumés and tutor memories at any time.
- Change notification and consent preferences in Settings.
Retention
We keep your learning history while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted, except records we must keep by law (for example payment and tax records).
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to your records is restricted by row-level security, and staff access is logged.
Children
The service is intended for learners aged 18 and above, or younger learners using it with a parent or guardian’s consent.
